9 Zero 7, Heading to Nome.

Heres the 9 Zero 7 that going to Nome with Billy Koitzsch. Its totally Pimped out. Thats Billy Style. So, the deal is. We really wanted him to take our bike to Nome. So, if he makes it to Nome. We will give him that frame. Thats pretty good deal for him and us. 2 prototypes, 1 wins the Susitnia (Bike Division) and 1 makes it to Nome. Not to bad for test bikes.

Getting back in the Groove.

Just got back from Minnesota. We went down to visit a Parts Company Q.B.P. It was a good time. We also got to go see a Timberwolves game. We had some bad ass seats. Center court, fourth row up. It was incredible.

We also got the full support for the http://www.arrowheadultra.com/ We have a place to stay, ride to the start, and finish. So, were totally in for 2010.

Back to training. After taking a few days off for travel. Got back to the gym and on the bike for 2:00HR Tempo and VO2 ride, felt great.

So, I bagged the the Susitna 100. But Bill decided to do it. He kicked some ass. He was 2nd overall and 1st in the bike Division. One 9:zero:7 with 80mm rims against 15 Fatbacks with 70mm rims and I guess there is a difference. In the bike and the rims.

Well, I wish I would have done it now. At this point, I'll just be super happy for Bill. I just need to stay focused on the Road season and next Susitna and who nows maybe McGrath.

Warm Weather = No Susitna for Me

Well, the weather is warming up. I decided not to do the Susitna this year. The temperature will be around 25 -30 degrees. That will be a soft, slow, push fest. Instead, I'm going to hang out with the family and enjoy love day with my girls. This is a huge amount of stress off my shoulders. Back to the training plan for road. Focus. Hawaii training, soon.

So here's the new car parked in front of the shop. Its pretty sweet. I'll have it decked out by the summer hopefully.

Tom and I went for a sweet ride today on the Hillside today. We rode the --- ---- trails. They were so nice. What amazing trail system that is. We were finishing up our ride and got behind a woman skijorning. We pasted her going up hill and she caught us going down and past us back, they were flying. So we went after them up hill. Holy crap. We were going flat out as hard as we could. We caught them and stayed behind them for alittle while. Then she let us go by again. So we tried to stay away. But those dogs were so fast. They passed us again and we were toast after that. I think we went VO2 for 20mins. Great ride.

Susitna 100 ???

I have till Thursday to make my mind up. Do the race or not to do the race? Thats the question. I'm making my decision based upon the weather. Will see what happens.
Kids are doing well. Amber and the girls went to the Kenai this weekend to see her family. So, I stayed home and worked and did a few projects. Heres a great shot of Dara in the tub.
I got a new car!!!! Its sweet. A 2008 Subura Impreze, 5spd, 4 door (Hatchback). I'll post some pictures tommorrow.
