Potter Valley HC

We had the first Potter Valley HC Race tonight. It went good.
I finished in a 7:58 and took 1st.
Amber had a solid race. She finished 2nd to Sheryl Mohwinkel. I'm not sure of there times yet.
So, thats 2 in a row. I won the last Potter of last year (2008). That also ties my PR from last year.
Amber has the Heart Run this weekend. They just said there will be around 7000 people signing up for the run. Till next time.

Dara's Moving!!!!

Dara started to crawl today. She moving across the wood floors pretty good. Maybe she's trying to get Cada.

"New" 9:Zero:7 Snowbike and Forks

So, we just go the new 9:Zer0:7 Frame in today. Sweet. We got in 15 and 9 are gone already. Pretty Cool.

Downtube is oversized for hauling lots of gear. That way you don't a floppy bike under load. We also added 6 rack mount to the frame. So it will fit lots of rack options.

Black Sheep is building us forks. We just recieved 2 versions. The first is Ti with oversized legs with Brake mount. That way you don't have a fork that feels like it is going to snap when you use you brake. The second a thinner wall leg without brake mounts. For those that dont use a Front Brake. We are also getting Steel forks in. We will have 100mm and 135mm Steel and Ti Forks.

I aslo drilled out a New Vacious cycles 80mm Rim today. It started at 1160g and I it down to 1000g. Thats per rim so 320 for a set.

Back from Kona.

What a great trip. Lots of training, eating, and playing on the beach. The kids had lots of fun. Ever night the kids where so tired. They where out as soon as there head hit the pillow. I got lots of riding in. One of my big days I got 10000ft climbing in. Amber rocked her First Tri out of state. 1st in here age group and 7th overall including pros. I'm really proud of her.
I'll give some training totals and pictures soon.
