The Frosty Bottom 2009

So, we finaaly got to put the race on. After postponing it a week due to the weather. The race was Saturday morning and was it ever slick and bumpy. The guys that rode in the front were not afraid to fall on there asses a few times. I wasn't interested in crashing and boy was I tired. Racing and being race Director sucks.
I did ride the new bike. No fatties, but 29er snowcats with studs. Worked super well. I just wasn't used to riding studs. I finished 8th.
Amber raced and wasn't far behind me. She won her race. (surprise) Daniel Folmar won the 50. So, we had 2 Kaladi members who won the both mens and womens 50. Trying to decide on the Susitnia 100.

Warming Up and Feeling Down!!!

So, the temperature is back up in to 17 degrees. It was really cold the last few weeks. Anywhere in the -10 to -30. I did a lot of trainer time the last few weeks. Today we went outside and it felt strange. But it felt good to get some fresh air.
I think I'm getting a cold. That sucks because the Frosty Bottom is coming up on Saturday. I was felling really strong. Now, I just fell tired. Amber seems to be riding strong. Shes been hitting it pretty hard lately. Hopefully it all comes together by Saturday.
